Uray Sindurakars are those who make the items required for Agamdyah, Digudyah, and special Tantric rituals. They make the dhakin (curtain) that hangs at the door of Agamdyah, the kwakhanga (a small yellow necklace-like neckpiece) used in secret worship, and the gwayka (a long cotton thread made of five strands of wool, two strands of cotton, and one strand of silk, symbolizing the six Yoginis) used in secret worship. During the Samyak festival, Samyak deities are adorned with kwakhanga as a symbol of their identity. According to Buddhist Newars,
The known settlements of Sindurakars are in Yetkha, Yetkha Ditiphus, and Damaithwa in Kathmandu. Their population is very small.
