Nala Karunamaya is the deity of Nala town, also known as Srishtikanta Lokeshvara, the creator of all beings. He has a white complexion, small eyes, holds a lotus flower, and displays the Abhaya Mudra. When a family member dies, 108 butter lamps are offered at this place. The annual bathing ceremony of Naladyah takes place on Falgun Shukla Pratipada. The Next day, the Duswah Puja is performed. On Kansha or Tritiya, the Dashakarma Vidhi Puja is performed for installation. During the festival, only the idol of Dipankara Buddha is carried around.
