Prem Dhoj Pradhan is the creator who sang the first rock 'n' roll song in Nepalbhasa. Young people greatly enjoy such songs because, unlike the traditional tabla, madal, and harmonium, they use modern Western-style instruments. Around Nepal Sambat 1070, Pradhan himself played the guitar and sang such songs on stage, gaining immense popularity. Later, the same song was recorded on a disc around Nepal Sambat 1082.
