Hiraratna Tuladhar's nickname is Bhaidai. He is an unparalleled artist of wood art. He was born on Nepal Sambat 1040, Yanlaga Paru, Wednesday, in Tukyab, Bhota Hiti, Kathmandu. His father was Jogratna Tuladhar, and he started working in the field of wood art in Nepal Sambat 1070 based on his own experience. He used to create various wooden sculptures and artistic portraits of different gods and distinguished people in wooden picture frames. Notable works— 1) Construction of a Shree Ganesh idol and wooden photo frame at the office of the then Narayani Zonal Commissioner. 2) Construction of an 8-foot temple replica made of copper plates with intricate carving work at the main entrance of the then Rajsabha (State Council) building. 3) Construction of a 6-foot artistic Pashupatinath temple at Shree Sai Baba's residence in Puttaparthi, Andhra Pradesh, India. 4) Artistic replica of Kasthamandap presented as a gift during the civic felicitation ceremony organized by Kathmandu Nagar Panchayat for visiting heads of friendly nations, at various times, on the friendly invitation of Their Majesties the King and Queen.Built.
