Muktin arayan, son of Bhuminarayan and Indira from Silgadhi, Doti, Far Western Nepal, was born in 1945. After completing his Master's in Science in 1966, he obtained his Ph.D. from the University of California, USA, in 1977. He is an expert, particularly in the field of developing medicines for treating wild animals and conserving the environment in wildlife areas. He is a pioneer who initiated musk deer farming in Western Nepal.
