Narayanhari, son of Kirtilal Joshi and Balkumari from Bhimphediya, Makwanpur, was born in 1933. He completed his postgraduate education in science in India and successfully obtained his PhD in Physics from Sagar University there in 1964. He made significant contributions to the advancement of science education in Nepal.
