The handwritten magazine 'Nepal' was published by the Folklore Council under the editorship of Ms. Nirmala Shrestha. Mr. Virat Shrestha provided financial assistance to publish this book. During the political events of B.S. 1997, many Nepal Bhasa writers were imprisoned. At this time, a group of young people who were not imprisoned, under the leadership of Ratnadhwaj Joshi and with the active involvement of Bhairabgopal, published 9 issues of a handwritten magazine named 'Nepal'. Among the magazines thus published, only six issues, namely 1, 3, 5, 6, 7, and 9, could be found. This book classifies and analyzes the genre-specific compositions included in these six issues, and alsoThis book also introduces the writers whose articles were included in the magazine. Accordingly, the writers of the articles included in these six issues are— Ratnadhwaj Joshi, Bhairav Gopal Vaidya, Harishankar Lal Shrestha, Rudrabahadur Shrestha, Chakradhar Sharma, Purna Prasad Amatya, among others. Genre-wise, poetry and essays appear more frequently.
