Pragyadevi Shakya

Ms. Pragya Devi Shakya was born in Nepal Sambat 1075 from the womb of father Dharmanand Shakya and mother Chandradevi Shakya in Masangalli, Kathmandu. Ms. Pragya Devi Shakya, the younger sister of Newar activist Raja Shakya and wife of Nareshvir Shakya, has been active in language and literature since her student days. Her two religious books, 'Janbahadyahko Nitya Puja' (Daily Worship of Janbahadyah) and 'Dwadas Tirtha Mahima' (Glory of Twelve Pilgrimages), have been published, and stories and poems have appeared in various newspapers and magazines. In the field of storytelling, she is considered a social realist storyteller who writes stories based on the cultural context of Newar society.is known.
