Mr. Ramsekhar, son of Mohanmaya and Sher Bahadur Nakami, was born on Bachhalaga: 6, Nepal Sambat 1057, in Wachutwa, Inachwe, Khwopa. Having completed his B.A., he debuted on stage as an artist in both major and minor roles in plays like 'Samaj-Sudhar' (Social Reform) (V.S. 2011), 'Sahasi Mahila' (Brave Woman) (2012), and 'Samaj' (Society) (2014) during his youth. He gradually started writing in various Nepal Bhasa genres, including songs, stories, novels, plays, essays, and others. Among his written stories, 'Ashcharya' (Wonder) (Jhi, Year 2:4, Nepal Sambat 1079) was the first to be published, and his first printed work wasthe one-act play 'Kha Haal' (Jhi Year 18:1, Nepal Sambat 1095).
He is a writer who, undeterred by the oppressive policies of the then government, advanced progressive ideology in the Nepal Bhasa literature field. He is a renowned writer in the humorous and satirical literature field of Nepal Bhasa. His published books in various genres to date include— Mohani-Memuna (N.S. 1075), Sotipaay (Story Collection, N.S. 1084), Nasamfaahgu Chaa (Novel, N.S. 1093), Simaat Phaph Swah (Story Collection, N.S. 1095), Dhintall (Play Collection, N.S. 1099), Silu (Picture Story, N.S. 1107).
Besides this, his novel 'Nasamfaahgu Chaa' has been translated into Japanese and published in Japan. After his demise on Chillaathwa 1, N.S. 1137, his story collection 'Simaat Phaph Swah' was translated into Khas Nepali and published under the name 'Bichkiye Ka Rukh Haru'. Similarly, a collection of remembrance writings, 'Jujudhou' (N.S. 1138), has also been published.
He is not only a writer of plays and comedies, but also a successful director, actor, and comedian. He was the co-writer of the film 'Rajamati' and the writer of the film 'Yamikha'. As a writer, artist, and director of popular Nepal Bhasa plays and comedies like Punamaya, Bhajgovind, 12 Bajye, Nhisutu, etc., he has also acted in numerous famous Khas Nepali television series.
He won the Shrestha Award in N.S. 1091 for the manuscript of his novel 'Nasamfaahgu Chaa' in the story-novel genre of Nepal Bhasa literature. He was awarded the Basundhara-Ganki Award in N.S. 1115 and the Newa Hahana Award in N.S. 1118. Similarly, in N.S. 1130, he was presented with the Lifetime Achievement Award at the Page Three People's Choice Awards. Furthermore, in Dillan, N.S. 1133, the Nepal Bhasa literary field honored him grandly and celebrated a literary festival with a dazzling felicitation.
He has been honored not only in the Nepal Bhasa field but also in the Nepali language field with awards like the Bhairav Pratibha Award, Yuddha Prasad Mishra Award, and Sarvanam Award. The play 'Pakha', directed by him and based on the story of renowned storyteller Purna Pathik, won the top prize at an award ceremony held in Japan.
