Mr. Siddhiman Palikhe is one of the linguistic activists of Nepalbhasa from outside Kathmandu Valley. He was born on Mangsir 24, 1921 BS in Dharan-Bijaypur. His mother's name was Bhanithaku Palikhe and his father's name was Bahadursingh Palikhe. He was a great social reformer. He undertook many works of building temples, rest houses, and water spouts in Dharan. He passed away on Magh 18, 2007 BS. His descendants have established the Siddhi Newah Parishad on twelve kaththa of land to work for Newar culture, traditions, and language.
