Teertharaj Tuladhar was born on Nepal Sambat 1045, Chilla Thwa 5, in Kathmandu. His mother's name was Devmaya Tuladhar and his father's name was Balraj Tuladhar.
Mr. Tirtha Raj Tuladhar composed poems, essays, and translated literature. His first published work was a poem. His renowned poem was published in Dharmadewa Patrika in Nepal Sambat 1071. Mr. Tirtha Raj Tuladhar is a renowned scholar for translating from English to Nepal Bhasa and from Nepal Bhasa to English. He is also a Newa who served as an ambassador in Saudi Arabia and all Gulf countries, and also held the position of Secretary in the then His Majesty's Government. His published works include Akhe (World Stories, Translation, Nepal Sambat 1085), Sri Lanka's New Stories (Translation, Nepal Sambat 1113),Sugata Saurabha (English Translation), etc. Furthermore, with the help of UNESCO, he published a book on Yampi Twabikh's Love. He was awarded the Best Prize for Translation Literature in Nepal Sambat 1086. He has been honored with the Atiprabala Gorkha Dakshinabahu (First Class) and the Suvikhyat Trishakti Patta (Second Class).
