After he, a son of the Bhani Khala of Naghal Tole in Kathmandu, studied as a doctor, he opened the country's first dental clinic in Thahity Tole, Kathmandu. And here, arrangements were also made for people to get new teeth if needed. Later, under Aṣṭaman's training, many young men from Naghal's Bhani Khala became skilled in dentistry. As a result, Thahity and Naghal Tole became a center for dentistry and treatment.
