Born in Kathmandu in 1934, Upendraman, son of Mr. Khadgaman and Mrs. Pranamaya from Wantu, completed his Master's degree in Geography from Patna University, India, in 1951. He has made significant contributions to the study and teaching of Geography in Nepal.
